Real talk.
Your breakthrough is on the other side of your next breakdown.
Life is one big ass rollercoaster.
There are ups and downs.
Highs and lows.
Fear and excitement.
Wins and failures.
And we get to learn and grow through it all.
You may be mostly cool, calm, and collected and have your shit together. (Or not!) But things will happen that are out of your control and that throw you off.
Here’s the thing: you get to FEEL about them. In fact, you’ve GOT to feel about them.
Or maybe sometimes you just feel plain off, without any logical explanation. And that’s okay too.
You are human. You have emotions. And you should absolutely give yourself permission to express them.
FEEL YOUR FEELINGS. DON’T FEAR THEM.
Not doing so is a recipe for disaster.
Emotions can be scary. Uncomfortable. Or downright awkward. But the only way past them is through them.
There are a million healthy ways to process and express your emotions. (Ask me if you need ideas, I have lots!)
But for the love of all that is good and holy, let them out.
Let your feelings out.
I was feeling kinda crunchy and off the last week or two. Fears and limiting beliefs swirling around in my head.
Then this morning my ah-mazing partner Chris (who is one seriously perceptive mofo) started a conversation that cracked me open.
We started talking and a bunch of stuff came out. I had a little mini meltdown. I cried, he held me, we talked it out.
Then I talked to my team. They listened, empathized, helped me reframe. I felt seen, heard, witnessed, supported #community
And then… I got my breakthrough!
All that stuck energy started to dissipate. Clarity came, I feel grounded and aligned again, and like I have my brain back.
All thanks to the breakdown. If I hadn’t let the emotions move through me, I’d still be stuck.
Feel your feelings. It’s like pouring a wellness elixir through your mind, body, and soul.
